Social Media and Marketing Manager (remote)

As the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Avantive, you will be a vital part of our team and will be responsible for telling our story and supporting all corporate marketing efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company’s brand messaging and online presence under direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications.
  • Produce compelling, on-brand content across all major social channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and all major job posting boards.
  • Respond to and engage in conversation with public commentors and private messages in a timely manner.
  • Maintain stock responses to common online questions and concerns.
  • Create and maintain a quarterly social media calendar that aligns with the company’s overarching marketing objectives.
  • Increase social media engagement across multiple platforms, utilize editorial content more effectively, and showcasing projects that reinforce Avantive’s purpose-driven culture.
  • Analyze social media results through Hootsuite, evaluating what campaigns are most/least successful, and making recommendations for future efforts.
  • Stay apprised of emerging social media technologies and trends that align with Avantive’s marketing and business goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various departments and corporate locations to help promote their initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Active monitoring and responding to online reviews in a professional manner.
  • Spearhead development of new website by writing copy, collecting, or creating essential elements, and ensuring deliverables are on-time.
  • Help with the creation of compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Assist senior leadership with development of case studies, whitepapers, e-books, and other written materials.
  • Interview company thought leaders and write editorial content that can be used in outward facing channels.
  • Clearly communicate Avantive’s business successes and purpose-driven culture internally.
  • Provide event support for tradeshows, networking opportunities, and speaking engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Excellent writing, copyrighting, and editing skills.
  • Experience with project management and ability to successfully complete specific objectives on time.
  • Strong creative capabilities and sharp visual instincts.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Extremely well-organized with attention to detail.
